Illustrator on Under the Boardwalk

In 2021, still in her Junior year of college, Breanna was contacted by Paramount Animation to work on her first job as an illustrator for Under the Boardwalk. Her greatest goal in this industry is to help bring out the new wave of 2D traditional animation in the media to enhance those untold stories with more diverse perspectives that are not commonly heard to audiences of all ages. She wishes to see the continuation of greater risks being taken and wants to embrace the unconventional side of things from storytelling to experimenting with more illustrative, raw, and unique styles in animation-- the world does not know what it does not see!

6. WHAT IS ONE THING YOU LIKE ABOUT WORKING FOR PARAMOUNT ANIMATION?

Everyone has a voice!

7. WHO IN YOUR CAREER HAS HELPED YOU TO IMPROVE AND SUCCEED? HOW DID THEY HELP YOU?

My father is also an artist and introduced drawing and cartoons to me. What I always admired about my father was how he drew for himself and himself only. There were no concerns about impressing people, no stress of what people wanted to see from him, nothing like that-- he painted how he felt and that was it. His work and attitude have inspired me since day one as it came from a place of heart and authenticity.
